Core Plugins
Core plugins are:
Publish maps to the Internet
QGIS can be used as a WMS, WMTS, WMS-C or WFS and WFS-T client, and as a WMS, WCS or WFS server. Additionally, you can publish your data on the Internet using a webserver with QGIS Server, UMN MapServer or GeoServer installed.
For this part we shall deal with a qgis2web plugin .
Web Mapping with QGIS2Web
Web mapping is a great medium to publish your GIS data to the web and make it accessible by other users. Creating a web map is a very different process than creating one in a GIS. Most of GIS users are not web programmers and it presents a challenge when one needs to create a web map that is of the same quality as a map creating in a GIS.
Thanks to QGIS with its capabilities on translating our desktop data to web maps.QGIS makes this possible by use of QGIS2web plugin which create a web map using OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries from your QGIS project.
I shall share screen shots on how to download the plugin and make use of the plugin to create web map.
See you in my next publish
